Typography submission for the International society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) brief on reimagining the open and closing chapters of a classic book. I chose Bram Stoker's Dracula for my classic book and examined the changing roles in society for women at the time of the publication (1897). The emergence of a 'New Woman' in society at that time was pivotal in obtaining women's rights, and my reimagining was titled the 'Salvation of Mina', a reference to how Stoker's character of Mina in the novel fought against the dark forces to rescue Jonathan, her fiancé, which was similar to the battle that women in the late 19th century had.
