Hi, my name is Gary McLaughlin and I am a creative graphic designer.
I graduated with honours (2.1) on the BA (Hons) Graphic & UX Design Degree course at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in 2023 in Letterkenny, Co.Donegal.
I have gained invaluable experience in Graphic, UX & UI design from my time at university and more recently as an independent freelance graphic designer.
I have collaborated on projects such as, Inch Wildfowl Reserve, (Wayfinding and identity project), Swans Park Historical Viewer project and providing the graphic solutions for a young adult book currently selling on Amazon. I am also working with an author on an upcoming biographical publication providing typographic and illustrative input.
I have delivered projects using typography, brand identity, product packaging, logo design, Ui & Ux design and motion graphics in my time as a creative designer and my style is unique and my approach to projects is to develop the positive and interesting features that promote a connection between brand and user.
I am also a keen photographer and can be found on many of Donegal's hillsides and beaches adding to my photographic portfolio (One of my images won an award in 2021, sponsored by The Irish Examiner and Clean Coasts).
One of my passions in life aside from art & design is football and my favourite team is Arsenal. Since September 2025 I have been writing articles for Gunners.com and Purefootball.com weekly on Arsenal football club. To date at the end of the current season where Arsenal became champions! I have submitted 22 articles and will continue this into the new season beginning in August 2026.
My interest in art and graphic design has been a lifelong one and I went back to college in 2019 to complete my studies in this field.
